WOMEN'S MISSIONARY SOCIETY (WMS)

Mission Statement: The Women's Missionary Society of the C.M.E. will share the good news, "Salvation through Jesus Christ" with unsaved men, women and children at home and abroad by using the process and program outlined in the Bible, The Discipline, The Constitution and By-Laws of the Women's Missionary Society.

Purpose:

• To implement the mission and unity of the Christian Church in Christ Jesus.
• To make the mission and unity known at home and abroad.
• To encourage cooperation, fellowship, and mutual counsel concerning the spiritual life and religious activities of the Christian Church.
• To study the needs of society in order to aid in the development of programs, people, processes, and resources that will enable the local church WMS to fulfill its mission.
• To work closely with private and public institutions and agencies in the fulfillment of common goals insofar as such cooperation is consistent with the Constitution of the Women's Missionary Society.
