The purpose of the church ushering ministry is to promote the divine worship of the church, to render service of any kind, and to do it effectively. The usher is a personal representative of Jesus Christ who meets people on a person-to-person basis when they first arrive at church. Ushers are people-oriented, have a team spirit and committed to the work of the Lord.
